Hey all,

I’m very proud to release the 10th Postmodern Jukebox album, “Squad Goals” today – a collection of many of our recent singles, plus 5 brand new tracks.

“Squad Goals” is a particularly fitting name, because this album contains an absolutely stellar lineup of vocal talent.  We have tracks by well-known PMJ stars like Haley Reinhart, Morgan James, Von Smith and Puddles Pity Party, and outstanding newcomers like Melinda Doolittle, Dani Armstrong, and Jennie Lena, as well.   The PMJ remakes of “MMMBop,” “Black Hole Sun,” and “You Give Love A Bad Name” were all recent viral successes, and the new videos that we’ll be rolling out over the next few weeks contain a number of surprises.

Style-wise, the album features a heavy dose of retro ’50s / ’60s pop sounds, but also quite a bit of James Bond-esque string sections.  My aim for this particular collection of songs was to spend a bit more time on each arrangement and give each one a mature, refined sound to complement the outstanding vocals.  Of course, there’s also a bit of New Orleans and 1920s influence that longtime PMJ fans will recognize. This could possibly be our classiest album yet!

We hope this collection inspires many a dance party / road trip / late night study session.

Enjoy the album!
