In her Music City hometown she can usually be found sporting cowboy boots, crooning country tunes with an acoustic guitar slung around her shoulders.

In her PMJ debut, she’s elegant in high heels and a sequined gown, her voice sounding just as powerful uptown as it does down home.

In Scott Bradlee’s soul-meets-country string arrangement, the complaint of a rebellious teen becomes the lament of a sophisticated diva, proving things don’t get any less complicated as we grow up.
